Hi everyone and thanks for checking in. We have a bunch of exciting stuff going on. We're happy to announce the release of a new live CD - "Foreign Legion". It features tracks recorded at a festival in Mallorca, Spain and back home in Berkeley, CA at The Freight and Salvage. There are live renditions from all five of our studio efforts as well as a handful of instant classics (i.e. previously unreleased). It's available now at the usual suspects - check the "Recordings" section for more info.

We've also started work on a new CD that will feature Tin Hat couched in the singular sonic lushness that is The Magik*Magik Orchestra. This Bay-Area based ensemble, comprised of an adventurous bunch of young crossover-classical musicians, make perfect collaborators for a recording that will feature Tin Hat's signature orchestral arrangements with special guest vocalists. Check back for details.We've got dates upcoming as well both in the US and Europe. We'll be touring this time around as a quartet with Mark, Carla, and Ben joined by accordionist/pianist Rob Reich. Carla will be crooning a little more than usual on these upcoming shows - check the "Tour Dates" section of the site and please come out and say hello.
